Have this ever happened to you?
- You struggle with a health problem, but your provider tells you it's "all in your head"
- You've lost time money on testing and diagnostics to find something, only to hear that "everything is in normal range"
- You've wasted time and money on supplements, medications, weirdo diets, only to end up spinning your wheels and can't tell if you are better, worse, or the same
If that hits a little too close to home, it's because we see it every day. Whenever a doctor sends you out because you're "fine" (when you're obviously not fine), there's a sad truth they are actually communicating:
"Your issue doesn't have an insurance code we can quickly and easily bill your insurance for, therefore, we have no answers for you, good day.
That's cold, isn't it?
If your health problem doesn't fit into a "neat and tidy" ICD-10 code for insurance reimbursement, then they will have a hard time helping you get the health results you want.
But that's how traditional healthcare works. It's a broken system. The worst part is, the people who suffer most are the ones who need help the most.
We see it every day. And that's exactly why we've taken a completely different approach to patient care.
